Hiring a Hat
1. CHOOSE YOUR HAT
2. CHOOSE YOUR HIRE PERIOD
We currently offer 5 or 10 day hire.
3. SELECT START DATE
You will receive you hat on or before this date.
4. PAY FOR YOUR HIRE VIA OUR WEBSITE
A security deposit of 60% of the hire fee will be held whilst the hat is out of the studio.
5. RECEIVE YOUR HAT
Your hat will be posted to you and will arrive on or before day 1 of your hire.
6. EVENT DAY
Most importantly, have a fabulous day! Please read our care guide for information about wearing the hat and how to look after it
7. RETURN YOUR HAT (ON OR BEFORE THE FINAL DAY)
Pack up the hat in the same or similar secure packaging your hat was sent (please do not use tape on the hat box) & send the hat back next day special delivery on or before the final day of your hire so that we receive it the following day. Please note if the final day falls on a Sunday or bank holiday please send back the next working day.
If a hat, headpiece, or headband is lost, stolen, or returned in a damaged (including any dents, loss of decoration or water damage) or dirty condition that exceeds normal wear and tear, as determined by Effie Williams in its sole discretion there will be a replacement charge up to the full retail value of the piece charged to the hirer.
2 weeks prior – full refund
1 week prior – 50% refund
3 days prior – 20% refund
Less than 3 days – no refund
