How will my parcel be delivered?
Effie Williams delivers goods via Royal Mail for UK deliveries When your parcel is delivered you will be asked to sign for it as proof of receipt. If you are not there, a card will be dropped through your door stating how to get your parcel. Effie Williams is not responsible for any delays with packages once sent, or items that may get lost in the post. Once sent, all items are out of our control.
All our hats are handmade to order so please allow 4 - 6 weeks for production. If this is an urgent order please get in touch and we will try to accommodate your deadline.
Delivery times after your piece has been lovingly hand-crafted are as follows:
UK Mainland: 2 to 3 working days
UK Islands: 5 days
Unfortunately we are not able to offer weekend or bank holiday deliveries.
Please note bespoke pieces would take longer to complete. Please allow 6 - 8 weeks for production however the estimated time of completion will be discussed during your consultation.
Firstly, thank you for making a purchase from effiewilliams.com and for your support. If for any reason the product you purchased does not meet your expectations, we are happy to offer an exchange or refund where possible, provided a Returns Number is requested within 7 days of receipt and items are returned to Effie Williams within 14 days and meet the requirements below. We regret that we are unable to offer refunds on products that have been made-to-order or customised. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
- All returns must be in perfect condition and complete with their original tags still attached.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn, unmarked or undamaged and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
- A refund will be issued to the original card that was used for the purchase within 5 days of receipt of the return. This refund will include the full value of the items returned, including UK taxes, but excluding shipping costs and any taxes or import duties incurred.
- If you are shipping an item over £50 (US$75), you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
